THE SOUND OF MUSIC - SONRISAS Y LÁGRIMAS

The sound of music Do Re Mi Fa
Version from the original film:
Do Re Mi Fa
"El sonido de la música" (Sonrisas y lágrimas)
Versión de la película original:

DO RE MI (The Sound of Music)

Let's start at the very beginning
A very good place to start
When you read you begin with A-B-C
When you sing you begin with do-re-mi

Do-re-mi, do-re-mi
The first three notes just happen to be
Do-re-mi, do-re-mi

[Maria:] Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti
[spoken] Let's see if I can make it easy

Doe, a deer, a female deer
Ray, a drop of golden sun
Me, a name I call myself
Far, a long, long way to run
Sew, a needle pulling thread
La, a note to follow Sew
Tea, a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to Do

(oh-oh-oh)
[Maria and Children:] [Repeat above verse twice]

[Maria:] Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do So-do!

[Maria: (spoken)]
Now children, do-re-mi-fa-so and so on
are only the tools we use to build a song.
Once you have these notes in your heads,
you can sing a million different tunes by mixing them up.
Like this.

So Do La Fa Mi Do Re
[spoken] Can you do that?
[Children:] So Do La Fa Mi Do Re
[Maria:] So Do La Ti Do Re Do
[Children:] So Do La Ti Do Re Do
[Maria:] [spoken] Now, put it all together.

[Maria and Children:]
So Do La Fa Mi Do Re, So Do La Ti Do Re Do
[Maria:] [spoken] Good!
[Brigitta:] [spoken] But it doesn't mean anything.
[Maria:] [spoken] So we put in words. One word for every note. Like this.

When you know the notes to sing
You can sing most anything
[spoken] Together!

[Maria and Children:]
When you know the notes to sing
You can sing most anything

Doe, a deer, a female deer…

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do
Do Ti La So Fa Mi Re

[Children:]
Do Mi Mi
Mi So So
Re Fa Fa
La Ti Ti
[Repeat above verse 4x as Maria sings]

[Maria:]
When you know the notes to sing
You can sing most anything

[Maria and Children:]
  Doe, a deer, a female deer…

[Maria:] [Children:]
Do . . . So Do
Re . . . La Fa
Mi . . . Mi Do
Fa . . . Re
So . . . So Do
La . . . La Fa
Ti . . . La So Fa Mi Re
Ti Do - oh - oh Ti Do -- So Do

Carol of The Bells - Celtic Woman

Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away

Christmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the bold

Ding dong ding
That is their song
With joyful ring
All caroling

One seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From everywhere
Filling the air

Oh how they pound
Raising the sound
O'er hill and dale
Telling their tale

Gaily they ring
While people sing
Songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas

On on they send
On without end
Their joyful tone to every home
Dong ding dong ding

MAN GAVE NAMES TO ALL THE ANIMALS - BOB DYLAN

Learn this beautiful and rhitmic song from Bob Dylan:
Aprende esta hermosa y rítmica canción de Bob Dylan:

MAN GAVE NAMES TO ALL THE ANIMALS
EL HOMBRE LES DIO NOMBRES A TODOS LOS ANIMALES

Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning.
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago.

He saw an animal that liked to growl,
Big furry paws and he liked to howl,
Great big furry back and furry hair.
"Ah, think I'll call it a bear."

Man gave names to all the animals...

He saw an animal up on a hill
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled.
He saw milk comin' out but he didn't know how.
"Ah, think I'll call it a cow."

Man gave names to all the animals...

He saw an animal that liked to snort,
Horns on his head and they weren't too short.
It looked like there wasn't nothin' that he couldn't pull.
"Ah, think I'll call it a bull."

Man gave names to all the animals...

He saw an animal leavin' a muddy trail,
Real dirty face and a curly tail.
He wasn't too small and he wasn't too big.
"Ah, think I'll call it a pig."

Man gave names to all the animals...

Next animal that he did meet
Had wool on his back and hooves on his feet,
Eating grass on a mountainside so steep.
"Ah, think I'll call it a sheep."

Man gave names to all the animals...

He saw an animal as smooth as glass
Slithering his way through the grass.
Saw him disappear by a tree near a lake . . .

Aquí tienes la letra

YELLOW SUBMARINE

In the town where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life,
In the land of submarines,

So we sailed on to the sun,
Till we found the sea green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine,

We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play.

(Trumpets play)

We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

(Full speed ahead, Mr. Barkley, full speed ahead!
Full speed over here, sir!
All together! All together!
Aye, aye, sir, fire!
Captain! Captain!)

As we live a life of ease(life of ease)
Every one of us(every one of us) has all we need,(has all we need)
Sky of blue,(sky of blue) and sea green,(sea of green)
In our yellow(In our yellow) submarine.(submarine) ( Haha! )

We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

(fading)

We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.
